Welcome to the Community Engagement Platform! These terms and conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our online platform (the "CEP") and the services offered therein. By accessing or using CEP, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Platform.
The CEP is a product of Siyakha Consulting (Pty) Ltd, registration 2002/006365/07, hereinafter referred to as “Siyakha”.
Definitions
"CEP" refers to Community Engagement Platform, including any associated websites, mobile applications, and services. "User" refers to any individual or entity accessing or using CEP. "Enterprise" refers to businesses, organisations, or entities seeking funding or volunteers through CEP. "Funder" refers to individuals or entities interested in providing funding or donating to Enterprises. "Volunteer" refers to individuals interested in providing their time and expertise to Enterprises.
User Registration
Users may be required to register an account to access certain features of CEP. Users agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process. Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials and for all activities that occur under their account.
Use of CEP
Users agree to use CEP only for lawful purposes and in compliance with these Terms. Users shall not use CEP to engage in any activity that could harm, disable, overburden, or impair CEP. Users shall not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of CEP or any other systems or networks connected to CEP.
Enterprise Listings
Enterprises are responsible for the accuracy and legality of the information provided in their profiles and project listings. Enterprises agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations when seeking funding or volunteers through CEP.
Funders and Volunteers
Funders and Volunteers may browse and engage with listings posted by Enterprises. Funders and Volunteers agree to conduct their own due diligence before providing funding or volunteering services to Enterprises
Disclaimer
All learning material, business documents and templates, and opportunities on the CEP site have been provided to support all types of users while ensuring compliance with the law and the protection of their rights. Although we have taken every care to ensure that information is accurate and up to date, we cannot guarantee that it is without any errors or omissions. Siyakha and its employees will under no circumstances accept liability for the consequences resulting from the use of these materials. Neither will it accept liability for offers and opportunities provided by third parties.
Privacy
Our privacy policy governs the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information provided by Users. By using CEP, you consent to the collection and use of your personal information as outlined in our privacy policy .
Intellectual Property
CEP and its contents, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and images, are the property of Siyakha and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws
Limitation of Liability
Siyakha shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with the use of CEP
Termination
Siyakha and the CEP reserves the right to terminate or suspend access to CEP at any time, with or without cause, and without prior notice. Upon termination, all rights and licenses granted to Users will terminate, and Users must cease all use of CEP.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Siyakha, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Changes to Terms
Siyakha and the CEP reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on CEP. Users are encouraged to review these Terms periodically for changes.
